Police were at the scene of a car fire on the A259.
The blaze broke out in Churchill Avenue, Folkestone, this afternoon.

Pictures show a Peugeot 208 engulfed in flames and smoke, with officers blocking a lane close to the Castle Hill Interchange.
Police were called at 3.25pm, and the road reopened less than an hour later.
A spokesman said: “Officers and the fire service attended the scene where fire crews extinguished the blaze.”

A fire service spokesperson added: “We were called to reports of a car alight in Churchill Avenue, Folkestone.
“One fire engine attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.”
No injuries have been reported.
